$5 – $15

Teapressu Bubble Tea

the store is using these ingredients with care to create high-quality tea. We have been going to their food truck for many years and their tea quality hasn't declined at all. The price point is fair, especially in today's cost standard. They have a few kinks to work out, but Teapressu is a bubble tea store that we highly recommend.

Delissio Crispy Pan Pizza

I feel like the thickness of the pan pizza mainly contributes to the fluffiness of the base, rather than filling me up. Perhaps the amount of ingredient is the same, and being fermented longer is the only difference between the deep pan pizza and normal ones. Maybe, the purpose of the pan is just to hold the airy dough to its shape. The Delissio's Crispy Pan Pizza is quite enjoyable, however, the $7.99 price point is a bit too much for what we are getting in the box.

DaWanGong 大碗公 Taiwanese Food Stand in Crystal Mall

A bento box packed with goodies that cost less than $10 seems like something of the last decade. Most importantly, we can taste the authenticity of Taiwanese flavour in their food. The intensity of flavour becomes a personal preference. If you like either a cheap eat, or authentic Taiwanese cuisine, DaWanGong is 2020's newest food stand you cannot miss.

Mr Mustache Tea and Dessert in Burnaby

It was a little disappointing to see Mr. Mastache is making mistakes on the pearls, which is the most rudimentary part of a bubble tea shop. However, the quality of the cakes still cannot be ignored. The interior space feels very cozy, and the staffs are friendly. Mr. Mastache is not a low-cost spectrum among the bubble tea stores we have in Vancouver. I particularly like the fact that they are not part of any franchise, and they can really be a life-saver when someone needs to get a small-portioned cute little cake.

Song Tea Bubble Tea Franchise in Richmond

Song Tea did not meet my expectations. I assumed the popularity was gained through the quality of products, while in fact, it's just a trendy brand using cleverly named drinks to attract young people. Being a drink for $5.25, customers would definitely be expecting fresh milk and perhaps asking if small pearls are okay with the customer. For what it's worth, Song Tea failed in all aspects of our reviews. None of the atmosphere, service, food quality and the cost are worth the visit. I assume this place will soon go out of business.

Ben Gong’s Tea in Burnaby

Ben Gong's Tea offers one of the best bubble tea you can get in Vancouver. Their revolutionary tea jelly cubes have balanced flavour between tea and sweetness. It adds a shot of tea's taste to the drink and offers an alternative for customers who don't want to have chewy textures in their drinks. The store has interesting decoration including an artificial tree and the staff strive to offer excellent service. With the use of fresh milk and carefully picked tea, the price for $5.45 (large) and $4.99 (small) is the lowest we have seen in the lower mainland. I would definitely recommend giving Ben Gong's Tea a try.

Hanlin Tea House Franchise Afternoon Tea

Hanlin Tea House serves very good and refreshing bubble tea. It is such a pleasant surprise that they also serve high-quality afternoon tea desserts. Paying $20 for a plate of 6 bite-size snacks is a little expensive, but you get to try most of what Hanlin Tea House has to offer. If you share this order with another person and order a drink, the $15 per person visit to Hanlin Tea House is actually quite reasonable.

Salted Egg Yolk Cookies from TK Food

Among the salted egg desserts we have tried, the Salted Egg Yolk Cookies from TK Food is the least successful candidate because the only relationship it has to a salted egg is on the labeling. We cannot recommend this product.

Shiny Tea at Aberdeen Square

Shiny Tea's quality is comparable to Hanlin Tea House, if not identical. The lower cost for the same tea comes without the wonderful interior decor Hanlin Tea House has. The price tag of $5.49 is cheaper than Hanlin, which makes Shiny Tea the perfect tea station for a quick grab and go.
