Hokkaido Butter

Hokkaido Butter is really not in the leagues of other famous pre-packaged frozen desserts. The $9.99 package contain 4 ice cream cones inside, so they are $2.50 each. That is pretty expensive. I believe the careless temperature control during transportation ruined my first bite and the waffle texture. I cannot recommend something that is expensive and has low quality.

Sushi Mura, Korean Japanese Restaurant

I do enjoy the food here for its taste. However, when a someone call themselves a "Japanese Restaurant" I critique them using Japanese Restaurant standard. With this set of criteria, Sushi Mura is not good restaurant. They did not carry any of the Japanese culture, finesse, or belief. Sushi Mura feels like an operation of some Korean guys jumping on the "Japanese Food" band wagon to make some quick cash.

Kikyouya Shingen Mochi Popsicle 桔梗信玄餅アイスバー

Kikyouya Shingen Mochi Popsicle is a little on the expensive side for its size. I think it is completely worth it because I literally have not enjoyed a popsicle from opening to finish like this one. I indulged this popsicle on all my senses. From the aroma right out of the packaging to 4 types of textures in my mouth. With a small size like this, I can see the interior scenery change with every bite I take. There are also quite an interesting taste variation depends on which part of the popsicle you are eating. This little popsicle provided me with surprises in every bite.

Moii Cafe, Japanese Crepe

Just a sneak peak of what's inside. Whenever there's chicken, we can see a lump from the outside. Cheese has been fully melted. Chicken can be a bit dry. Moii Cafe has changed its serving plate from porcelain to composite wood. Although the wooden plate is flat, I think this is a good business decision. The hot crepe naturally sticks to the bottom. Their knife is not super sharp. I guess the porcelain plate and knife created too much squeaking sound. This shows the store manager paid attention to finer details in the store.

Japanese Bistro Hatzu, Home-style cooking served in a minimalist designed restaurant

The minimalist decoration makes the restaurant clean and comfortable. Sleek menu design gave me the illusion that I've walked into the latest trendy restaurant everyone has been talking about. The staff is friendly and everything just worked, except for the food...
