Monga Fried Chicken
4.5 Stars Review $11/Person
Very good food quality control. Cheap eat for its portion
Monga Fried Chicken serves thick and juicy boneless whole chicken breast fried with crispy batter having different flavours. One piece of fried chicken can substitute an entire meal.
Potelicious
4 Stars Review $15/Person
Tasty food. Hit and miss depends on what you order, mediocre service.
Potelicious is very highly sought after among the Taiwanese community. Lots of different toppings provided. The cost is a bit on the high side of being a food court establishment, but acceptable.
Gokudo Shabu Shabu (極道刷刷鍋) Personal Hot Pot
4 Stars Review $20/Person
Average food quality, good service. Wholesome dining experience for the cost.
Although Gokudo Shabu Shabu doesn’t have the best quality of meat or flashy decor, the value really speaks for itself. Ever since the opening of their Burnaby location, I can see that they are improving the ingredients. This improvement is reflected in the cost, but Gokudo Shabu Shabu is still one of the more economical places to enjoy Taiwanese style personal Hot Pot in Richmond.
Micha Asian Fusion Kitchen
3.5 Stars Review $16/Person
Authentic Taiwanese food. Mediocre service.
Once called “Strike“, now re-branded to Micha Asian Fusion Kitchen. Even though they moved away from the title of Taiwanese restaurant to serve more variety of Asian cuisine, foodies still know this is a Taiwanese restaurant at its core.
Chef Liu Kitchen
3 Stars Review $15/Person
Mediocre food quality. Good soup base, but noodle strength needs improvement. A bit pricey.
I know a lot of people think Chef Liu Kitchen serves one of the best Taiwanese beef noodle in town, but it didn’t perform well when we were there. Even though it taste quite good, the noodles were a bit overcooked for us.
