Dog Eat Corndog is a nice little food truck serving corndog. The owner use his secret recipe dough and sauce to bring us authentic Korean style corndogs. He uses low temperature to deep-fry the corndogs so he can give customers the ideal corndog he wants to serve even though it drastically reduce the efficiency in serving. I really enjoyed the taste and texture of the corndog batter. It's like eating a cake inside a crispy corndog shell. The cost of corndogs ranges from $4 to $8 which is a little high for corndogs, but still acceptable given how much care the owner of Dog Eat Corndog put into each corndogs.

Nongshim Korean Clay Pot Ramyun Instant Noodle

My added spam was the most enjoyable part of the Nongshim Korean Clay Pot Ramyun. The ramyun does live up to its name for being chewy after being soaked in hot water for 5 minutes. However, the taste wasn't that memorable. When I see the word "clay pot", I was expecting Korean specialty hot sauce and a bit of sweetness from caramelized ingredients. Unfortunately, none of which was present. The Nongshim Korean Clay Pot Ramyun has got the texture, but the taste is 2 stars at best.

38 Sampal Korean BBQ in Richmond

For $30 per person, 38 Sampal Korean BBQ is a very affordable restaurant to get BBQ. The pork combo has a very large portion so I think that is really worth it. However, the downside is the lack of texture variation. Our staff came to cook the meat for us and came to flip them once. He never came back so it was a little confusing because we though the meat wasn't ready until it's burnt. Then we realize it's because the restaurant got too busy.

Oh! Zzhu Sam Korean Restaurant is a home-style Korean restaurant that focuses on baby octopus stir-fry. One of the special services they provide is to make fried rice at your table using the stir-fry you have ordered. Aside from the shady neighborhood and the tinted windows Oh! Zzhu Sam Korean Restaurant achieved a very high score to our standard. The small octopus stir-fry cost $36 which drives the overall cost up to $22 per person, but it is reasonable considering we were enjoying fresh seafood. If you enjoy Korean food, we recommend giving Oh! Zzhu Sam Korean Restaurant a try.

Sutah Ramen Hot & Spicy Noodle Soup by Samyang

Samyang's Sutah Ramen is pretty cheap at $4.97 for a package of 5. That's only a little more expensive than $1 per package after tax. I like the texture of their noodle, which is clearly advertised on the packaging. The spicy flavour is good but the soup base is a little boring. I would recommend this ramen for people who enjoy the chewy texture of noodles. It's a luxury to be able to enjoy this at home. I would probably try to make my own soup base though.

Snow Angel Cafe may not have a business philosophy, but they really captured the heart of many customers with their beautifully presented desserts. Everything we have ordered was created with a very high standard that they don't just taste good, but also very exciting to look at. I know their bingsoos are also very beautiful but didn't have a chance to try them during this visit. We would definitely come back for it.

Sooda Korean BBQ in Burnaby

Sooda Korean BBQ serves traditional Korean food alongside the newer type of Korean food. Their special hot plate dish can be enjoyed individually or mixed. the $20 per person price point isn't too expensive compared to other similar Korean food restaurants. They have plenty of parking and the location is close to the Brentwood Skytrain station. If you don't want to drive all the way to Coquitlam to enjoy good Korean food, Sooda Korean BBQ can be a good option for you.

The sweet potato easily breaks apart by simply folding it. You would first notice the golden color interior accompanied by the steam. There is a strong sugary hearty smell that invades my nostril, and I welcome it with a deep breath. My puppy would charge towards me, then look at me with his begging eyes to trade for a piece of my treasure. This wholesome healthy treat is suitable for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Todak Todak Korean Cuisine is a fried chicken focused Korean restaurant. They also serve deep-fried pork cutlet on rice among other sides. Currently, they do not serve liquor, but I have faith in them getting it eventually. I really enjoyed their fried chicken for their flavour, crispy batter, and juicy meat. However, I think they may have put too much baking soda in the batter. For $25 per person, it is a little pricey. I would bring more friends to keep the cost down. They also have cheese flavoured boneless fried chicken, which is something I am coming back to try.
