Cafe Xu Hue 2026 – Best Bún Bò Huế Đặc Biệt in town!
Cafe Xu Hue is a small Hue shop at 2226 Kingsway. The room is bright and clean, but it is old. That does not affect how good the food is. The pork-knuckle bún bò Huế is the best thing here, and it is what I would order again.
The soup is spicy, with chili on top, and I was sweating before I finished. The portion is generous. Thick noodles, beef, pork, and a large piece of pork knuckle with the skin still on. A side plate of bean sprouts, shredded banana leaf, and lime comes with it. Add those in and the bowl gets even fuller.
A handwritten sign on the counter says cash only. If you want a regular beef pho instead, Pho D’Lite in Burnaby is the usual bowl. For Hanoi food, CHÉN on Hastings is a different menu.
