Chun Fun How is a very new tea house just opened in May 2020. They gave us such a wonderful experience similar, but different from the ones we got from Hanlin Tea House. From the beautiful cup, the flavour, and the texture of pearls, every aspect of the store are carefully crafted. This is a tea house with integrity, and we cannot recommend it enough.
Chun Fun How is a popular bubble tea franchise from TaiChung, Taiwan. We are very lucky to get their first North America location in Vancouver in May 2020. Due to COVID-19, we only get to try this place today, but we are very surprised at how good this place is. Chun Fun How is located on West Broadway, near Oak Street in Vancouver.
Strength: Unique flavour refreshing drinks, perfectly made boba.
Weakness: Normal ice level has a little too much ice.

CHUN FUN HOW Vancouver Storefront
Chun Fun How’s storefront design uses a off-cyan color that is similar to Tiffany’s. The color makes them stand out, unfortunately they have a very narrow storefront that makes them harder to notice. The name, logo, and the gold trim all looks oriental.

The interior of Chun Fun How is beautifully decorated. It has hardwood floor and counter. A flower painted wall is placed in the sofa area. There is also a shelf to display all the beautiful cup designs next to the pick up area.
Lychee Jade Tea with Aloe $6.50
The Lychee Jade Tea with Aloe was very fruity. We ordered normal ice and sugar level, and feel the sweetness of lychee flavour is very well balanced. This drink has real Aloe vera chunks provided a little boost of sweet and sourness. This is a very refreshing cup of drink, no wonder it is the best selling drink of Chun Fun How.
Sweet Potato Pearl Fresh Milk Tea $6.50
This sweet potato pearl fresh milk tea is Chun Fun How’s second best seller. I got the cup with flowers and animals on the print. I like every aspect of this drink. Before taking a sip, I was expecting more of a thick textured, dessert like drink. However, this drink is very clear, like any refreshing drink should be. The sweet potato flavour is very unique and I can taste small bits of the sweet potato towards the end. We don’t say this lightly, but the pearls are made perfectly. It has consistent texture throughout, chewy but not hard. Each bite feels full and plump. The outside is not fluffy like the pearls that are over cooked. It was such a beautiful experience.
