Meiji is a Japanese brand, but this Milk Ice Bar is manufactured in Taiwan. We normally don’t review plain ice cream bars like this, but this ice cream bar has quite a wonderful composition of flavour. We thought we could briefly talk about them. Meiji Milk Ice Bar can be purchased from any T&T Supermarket.

Simple package to be easily missed
The packaging of Meiji’s Milk Ice Bar is very simple. I think it is a little too modest that most people would miss this hidden gem. It has navy blue as the main color with a bit of gold trim to feature a poorly photoshopped ice cream bar.
The side of the packaging
There is nothing special here. Just the brand and merchandise name. The majority of the writings are in Chinese. The English version of the nutrition fact sheet is on the sticker at the back of the packaging.
4 ice bar per packaging
There are 4 individual packages in each box.
Individual packaging has the same design as the box
The ice bar itself doesn’t have an attractive appearance
As you can see, there are small ice particles forming on the exterior of the ice cream bar. There is also evidence that the exterior of this ice bar has been melted and re-frozen. The popsicle stick is not exactly centered in the bar. It is obvious that the shape of the ice bar is asymmetrical.
Wonderfully complex and complementary flavours
Biting into the ice bar reveals the consistent texture of the interior. I could feel the slight icy texture, but that actually provided a little bit of the refreshing sensation. The taste is wonderfully designed. This ice cream bar has a very rich taste of milk. The sweet taste is complemented by some savory taste to make each bite interesting.
604 Food Critic Assessment
For $8.99 per box, Meiji’s Milk Ice Bar Cost $2.25 per bar. It has an interesting taste profile compared to other ice bars of the same rank. I would recommend trying this if it falls within your budget.
